About us
About Veltara
Founded in 2014 by immunologists and clinicians, Veltara exists to close the distance between mechanistic insight and patient benefit.
Our mission
To develop precision therapeutics for people living with immune-driven disease, and to hold ourselves to evidence at every stage of development.
Our history
Veltara was spun out of a translational immunology laboratory in Cambridge with a single asset and eleven employees. Today the company operates research and clinical development functions across two sites.

How we work
Evidence before enthusiasm
Programs advance on data, not narrative. We publish what we learn, including what does not work.
Patients in the design
Trial design begins with the lived experience of disease, informed by patient advisory input from first-in-human onward.
Built for the long study
Durable outcomes require durable teams. We invest in scientists for the length of a program, not a quarter.
